Stunning vintage clock made by Smiths. Being sold as NON WORKING as it only ticks for a few seconds before stopping.  I have no knowledge of how to repair these clocks, but I am sure there are plenty of clock enthusiast who could repair this old clock and bring back to its former glory. This is a stunning retro style large wall clock marked Kensington, London. The clock is marked with the year 1870 and features a beautiful design that will surely add character to any room. The clock is perfect for those who love London and want to add a touch of history to their home. The clock is lightweight for its size but I am not sure of the material it's made from could be Medite or compressed cardboard. In good used condition with some wear to be the clock surround. Very nice battery operated wall clock, when bought it has a compartment for 2 batteries that operates a chime but due to battery corrosion on terminals and never getting around to clean the terminals and see if works, consequently sold as chime not working. Clock works well and has a push pedulum. In used condition with some minor wear consistent to its age and use.

Super wind up clock in need of sevice/overhaul. Cĺock does work but gains excessive time. Chimes work on all quarter hrs, on the hourly chimes does not chime the right amount for the time.Does have a Pendulum but i think it's not the correct one for clock.  In used condition with wear on wood casing consistent to its age and use. This is a lovely quality clock in working order. Has an art deco look. It is a well constructed clock as you would expect from Metamec with a outer metal  surround , the inner clock face surround appears to Marble.Alabaster, or even a very strong plastic  not 100% sure which.

The clock is in very good used condtion but does have a small chip on the marble surround in my opionion hardly worth worrying about. The clock weighs in at 2lbs 8 ozs . Battery operated. See photos to make your own assessment of condition.
